EXPERTISE
Operations Management
I bring a mix of operations, leadership, and business management experiences, which I believe are crucial in any executive-level or governance position. I have established Commercial, HR, IT, and Service Management practices, and have carried out process re-organisations and marketing campaigns targeted at key clientele. Furthermore, I am skilled in negotiation with heavily unionised environments, and in acquiring new partnerships with complete re-negotiation of multi-million-dollar contracts.
Terminal Technology
I have a solid understanding of container terminal technologies, from equipment and hardware to software. I am currently involved in building Artificial Intelligence for container decking, and AI driven camera technologies in terminals, to increase safety and performance.
I have also developed automation solutions for straddle carrier terminals and applications for patents for new container handling machines is pending.
Process Improvement
I'm a ambassador for Business Process Mapping, I know that without understanding a business process it is almost impossible to improve it.
I am trained in Unified Modelling Language and have access to a number of tools to facilitate process mapping.
